Essentially, an E-check, or electronic check, is a form of online payment where money is electronically withdrawn from the payer’s checking account, transferred over the ACH network, and deposited into the payee’s checking account.

How Does Electronic Check Processing Work?

Electronic check processing is somewhat similar to paper check processing, only faster. Instead of a customer manually filling out a paper check and sending it to the business they need to pay, today’s technology allows the process to happen electronically, saving both time as well as paper waste.

So I want to point out here that most of the concern about using a check online is through the fear that someone will have your banking details and can reach in and grab whatever they want.

This is not true at all. USHCGSHOTS.COM uses a third party processor where almost the entire process is handled digitally. This means there are less hands on the check that when you would normally write a paper check to pay for goods or services. Think about when you got to your doctor’s office and use a check to pay for your co-payment. You hand it to the receptionist, who in turns hands it to their manager at the end of the day and then over to the owner to deposit. The owner deposits your check into their bank via the teller who gives it to their manager so on and so forth. With an E-check, the only hands on the check are at the time of deposit into our bank. Everything before that, starting with you when you input your information in checkout, is done electronically. AND once you submit your checking information into our system it is encrypted for security and no banking information is stored.

Who uses E-Check?

E-Check is commonly used when employers directly deposit your paycheck, when the IRS issues a tax refund, when you pay bills online.

Why is USHCGSHOTS.COM using it?

Unfortunately, because they are a prescription service for pharmaceutical products, the credit card companies consider them “high-risk”.   E-check is the only form of payment that their business types are allowed to accept at this point in time.

Is E-Check safe?

Yes, it is for 3 reasons.  The first, as we already discussed, less people handling an echeck over a paper check.  The second is, you are protected by Regulation E, which is a regulation allowing you to revoke a fraudulent charge within 60 days of when that charge occurred.  And finally, eCheck processors observe the same security standards as your banking establishment including sophisticated encryption and secure data storage.

Who processes the E-Check payment?

USHCGSHOTS.COM have been using a company called Green.Money who has been in business since 2008 and paved the way for E-Check popularity and security.  They are based in the United States and do not outsource any of their staff, security or customer service.  Their security includes encrypted servers as well as line by line security encryption on all their software.  They have a fully state of the art data center including 24-hour live monitoring. No unauthorized person is going to get their hands on your data, period.
